Welcome to my portfolio

I’m Matthew Winterholler, and I am a proud Wyomingite. Throughout high school, I was heavily involved in FFA and the livestock show industry. After graduating, I attended Casper College, receiving an A.S. in agricultural communications, agribusiness, and animal science. While at Casper College, I participated in the college’s student senate, livestock judging team, and livestock show team. I also served on Wyoming FFA’s state officer team my sophomore year of college, which furthered my interest in communications.

I transferred to Texas Tech University in the fall of 2017, majoring in agricultural communications and minoring in political science. I served as a communications intern at National Sorghum Producers and the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture. I was also the secretary/treasurer for National Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow.

Upon graduation, I gained a position with National Cattlemen’s Beef Association in Denver, Colorado, on the Issues Management & Public Relations team. In my free time, I pursue my passion of graphic design through freelance work and diligently study for my master’s program in public relations through at the University of Florida College of Journalism & Communications. I’m also passionate about LGBTQ+ issues, and I have participated in organizations like Cultivating Change, the Colorado Democratic Party’s LGBTQ+ initiative, and PRSA Colorado’s Diversity & Inclusion committee.
